Model United Nations - Saturday 9th May 2026

While many of us may have spent Saturday relaxing in the sunshine, some RMS students spent the day trying to solve the world‘s problems!

RMS sent two delegations — a Y7 delegation representing South Korea and a Y9 delegation representing France — to the junior Model United Nations conference at Reigate Grammar School. They debated such weighty and timely topics as nuclear weapons, the Russia-Ukraine war, childhood obesity, and dolphins in outer space.

For all students, this was their first MUN, which made it all the more impressive that they came home with awards! Bertie F won 2nd place in his committee, while Anthony P. and Lexi C both scored first place in their committees! All our delegates put on an impressive display, showing Confidence and Determination.
