Year 8 Pathways

Information about this process is shared and updated in the summer term for current Year 8 students.

The Year 8 into 9 pathways model gives students an opportunity to study their chosen foundation courses in greater depth whilst retaining a broad overall curriculum.

Follow the steps below to help guide you through the Year 8 Pathways process:

Our 2024 presentation will be shown at the Year 8 Pathways Information Evening on Thursday 25th April, and will be available to view here from Friday 26th April
3 Watch the video presentation for further guidance:

4 Submit the Year 8 Pathways Google form

(Access to this form requires the student to be logged on to the school VLE, Pathway submission should be done by Year 8 students). 

The Year 8 Pathway Google form will be available from Friday 26th April 2024

Deadline for Form Submission in 2024 is Wednesday 15th May.

As far as possible we aim to give students their first three choices. Year 8 students should submit the online Pathways form in good time to avoid disappointment.
