Tea Dance 2025
A Wonderful Afternoon: Tea Dance Fosters Community Links!
Yesterday, our students and staff hosted a brilliant Tea Dance! The aim of this fantastic event is to foster strong, compassionate links between the young people at our school and the elderly residents of our local community.
The event was a huge success, featuring:
A wonderful playlist of Christmas songs, carols, and music from the 1940s and 1950s for our guests to enjoy and dance to.
A delicious Afternoon Tea, with our students proudly making and serving sandwiches and cakes, along with tea and coffee.
Even a special appearance from Santa Claus!
Wonderful Feedback:
The event received such lovely feedback that truly highlights the warmth and kindness of our students:
"A great afternoon enjoyed by us all, 'we' danced and enjoyed the Tea. We were looked after very well by the staff and students. A very happy occasion."
"I wanted to send a HUGE thank you from the residents of Hill Brow. My residents were so delighted with the visit yesterday, the children and staff were so kind to them. They sang Christmas carols with me all of the way home."
"I would like to thank all involved in the above. I was met, guided and waited upon by such a band of charming, friendly and engaging group of people yesterday. The tea was delicious. And we were so well looked after all round."
Well done to all the students involved—you demonstrated true community spirit!
