Winchester Magistrates Court
Year 8 & 9 Legal Stars
We are incredibly proud of our Year 8 and 9 students who represented Robert May’s School in the regional heat of the Magistrates’ Court Competition in Winchester earlier this spring.
The competition is a fantastic opportunity for students to gain a hands-on understanding of the justice system, taking on the roles of lawyers, witnesses, and court officials in a real courtroom environment.
Our students performed with great confidence and professionalism, delivering their arguments with clarity and poise. While the team did not progress to the next round this time, the level of skill and dedication they displayed was truly impressive.
Taking part in such a challenging competition requires significant preparation and public speaking skills. Well done to all our participants for their fantastic efforts and for representing the school so brilliantly.
