Founder’s Day Service
Founder’s Day Service, 2nd July 2026
Our Year 7 students visited All Saints Church in Odiham on Thursday for our traditional Founder's Day service to honour the legacy of Robert May and connect the past, present and future of Robert May’s School. It was a proud moment to see our youngest year group representing the school so respectfully.
Wreaths were laid to commemorate the two French Prisoners of war, who lived in Odiham in cottages near the chalk pits during the Napoleonic Wars.
The men laid at rest came as prisoners of war but thanks to the hospitality and generosity of the people of Odiham, they were embraced by the community and, as a result, we ourselves come together and are reminded of the importance of our community.
