A Fond Farewell to the Class of 2026: Year 11 Leavers' Day

On Friday 22nd May, Robert May's School marked a significant milestone as we said a tearful and fond goodbye to our Year 11 students for their official Leavers' Day.

The day was a perfect blend of hard work and celebration, beginning focused and determined with a morning exam, before transitioning into a festive afternoon of reflection and fun. Students gathered in their tutor groups for final goodbyes and partook in the time-honoured tradition of shirt signing, capturing memories from friends and teachers that they will look back on for years to come.

The energy shifted to the field for the iconic Year 11 football match, followed by an emotional final celebration assembly. The assembly was a wonderful highlight, packed with live musical performances from the students, heartfelt thank-yous, awards, silly videos, and a nostalgic trip down memory lane looking at their original Year 7 photos.

Staff lined up to wave the students off through the school gates, wishing them well as they embark on their next adventures.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank the Class of 2026 for their brilliant contributions to school life over the last five years. Good luck with the remainder of your exams, and we wish you the absolute best in all your future endeavours!
