Armistice Day 2025
Today, we observed Armistice Day with a poignant service to remember the fallen and support those currently serving in conflict. It was a deeply meaningful commemoration supported by many within our community.
Our thanks go to Helen Chatfield, Youth Pastor from All Saints Church, for leading the service.
Thank you to Luke for his moving performance of the Sounding of the Last Post and the Sounding of Reveille.
Readings:
Nina read the poem Cumulus, written by ex-student W Woods.
Our Head Prefects, Bella and Freddie, read the names of the fallen from Odiham School during World War I and World War II.
Freddie read The Exhortation, followed by Alex who read it in Ukrainian.
Bella then read The Kohima Epitaph.
The RMS choir concluded the service beautifully with their performance of "They were There."
Thank you also to RAF Odiham for their invaluable support, as always.
