Year 9 Bronze DofE Expeditions

Year 9 Students Conquer Bronze DofE Expeditions with Resilience and Teamwork
This week, two groups of determined Year 9 students set off on their Bronze Duke of Edinburgh's (DofE) expeditions, demonstrating exceptional resilience and teamwork in challenging conditions.
Despite the warm weather, every single student pushed through, navigating their routes and managing their camps with impressive capability. Their commitment to looking after one another was evident throughout, truly embodying the spirit of the DofE award. These expeditions are not just about physical endurance; they are invaluable opportunities for students to develop crucial life skills such as leadership, problem-solving, and self-reliance.
A huge thank you to the dedicated teachers who work tirelessly to make the DofE programme possible. Their commitment to giving up their time and teaching students these extremely valuable life skills is truly appreciated.
The adventure isn't over yet! Another two groups of Year 9s are set to embark on their expeditions next week. We eagerly anticipate hearing about their experiences and will be sharing more photos from those adventures soon.
