Cardboard Computer Competition 2025/26
We are incredibly impressed by the creativity and engineering skill on display in this year's Cardboard Computer Competition! Our KS4 Computer Science Students and RMS Digital Leaders had a tough job judging such a brilliant range of entries.
Congratulations to our top three designers who truly pushed the boundaries of hardware design:
1st Place: Poppy (7Y)
Poppy secured the top spot with a truly unique and innovative design. Her computer featured incredible accessibility tech, including a 'neurological pulse visor' to translate thoughts to the monitor! This, combined with detailed internal and external hardware components, made her a standout winner.
2nd Place: Amy (7Y)
Amy took home second place for her aesthetically pleasing design, featuring a clever rotating screen and highly detailed peripheral devices. A fantastic example of form and function!
3rd Place: Daisy (7P)
A firm favourite with our Year 11 judges! Daisy’s design stood out for its imaginative functionality, including springy keys to emulate a 'real' feel and even a digital component designed to disperse sweet treats!
