Year 7 Gurdwara Trip

Year 7 RE Trip: Visiting the Gurdwara in Southall 

On Monday, our Year 7 RE students took a wonderful and educational trip to the Gurdwara Sri Guru Singh Sabha in Southall.

The SGSSS is known as the largest Gurdwara organisation outside of India, established in the 1950s.

As part of our visit, students had the opportunity to visit the Langar (free kitchen), where vegetarian food is offered to all worshippers and visitors and to share a vegetarian meal in the Dining Hall. 

The students were, as always, brilliant and exceptionally respectful throughout the visit, representing Robert May's School wonderfully.
