Year 11 English Theatre Trips

The Year 11 English GCSE students had an exciting and enriching experience this week with their trips to the New Victoria Theatre in Woking.

Watching live performances of "Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde" and "Macbeth" provided a unique opportunity to see their curriculum come to life on stage. The students were captivated by the intense drama and dynamic portrayals of these classic literary works. Adding to the excitement, some students had the chance to meet the actors from "Macbeth" at the stage door, offering them a behind-the-scenes glimpse into the world of theatre. These experiences not only enhanced their understanding of the texts but also inspired a deeper appreciation for the performing arts.
