Department Aim:

The Design & Engineering Department at Robert May's believes that every student should have the opportunity to learn through the experience of hands-on making. This has come to include CAD/CAM, rapid prototyping (3D printing etc.), prototyping and testing. At KS3 this year students will work in wood, metals and plastics as well as electronics.  In Y8 all students will study aerodynamics and racing car design in our slightly famous F1 module.
