A Welcome From the Headteacher

This is an exceptional place where students, staff, governors and parents are wholly committed to the school mission, which is to provide excellence each and every day, with learning at the centre of all we do. We are proud of our heritage, and have been serving the local community since 1694, when Robert May, a local Mercer, bequeathed the sum of Six Hundred Pounds of Lawful English Money to be paid for the maintenance of a Free-School in the Town of Odiham.

There is a strong ethos of mutual respect and appreciation of hard work here. Examination results are always high, well above national averages. Most of our Year 11 students go on to well-known sixth-form colleges, and from there to distinguish themselves in universities and colleges. Our students are cheerful and well-informed. Our Academy status and recent changes to the education landscape provide great opportunities to develop the school even further so that students leave it as accomplished, knowledgeable, rounded individuals who will go on to make a positive contribution to other people’s lives, locally, nationally and worldwide.
