Partial School Closure from Thursday 19th March 2020

Years 7, 8 and 9 to remain at home. Years, 10 and 11 please attend school as normal.

We are waiting for further information on key workers and expect an announcement from the education secretary later today. A list will be published explaining which groups are eligible and we are busy in school making arrangements to support. We will publish information to parents when it is available. Thank you for your patience.

If you are a parent of a year 11 student you will already know that there are no GCSE exams scheduled for May or June. We are waiting for more information about how progression to college will be managed and expect more information in the coming days. We understand that the uncertainty around this is very difficult for young people to process and will do our best in school to support them today and tomorrow. More detail on this will be made available to parents when we have it
